Thomas Function

In the Valley of Sickness, editado há duas semanas, marca o regresso dos norte-americanos Thomas Function, depois de no ano passado se terem estreado com Celebration, álbum que mal ouvi e que provavelmente merecia mais atenção. Já In the Valley of Sickness muito tem rodado por aqui, é pop/rock viciante e divertido como há algum tempo não ouvia.

Esta quinta-feira estarei a passar música no Sound Caffe em Oliveira de Frades. Apareçam!

Será editado amanhã, 6 de Outubro, Childish Prodigy, o novo álbum de Kurt Vile, músico norte-americano que para mim tem sido uma das revelações do ano. É excelente o seu álbum do ano passado Constant Hitmaker, que foi reeditado há alguns meses com o disco bónus God Is Saying This to You. Folk, pop e algum psicadelismo caracterizam a música de Vile e é também o que encontramos em Childish Prodigy. Grande disco.
